That sounds interesting.

I am going to have to try this tomorrow.

As you can see in my avatar, there isn't much more hair left to tear out.

Or... you could use gallery software that's made to do what you want (or even Wordpress). If you have a lot of images, it will get tedious duplicating all that code. A photo gallery will let you import a whole folder full of pics and create the thumbnails and effects for you.
Google photo album software :D

Also, your template is for a static, non-responsive site. Think about if you want the site to be usable on smaller screens and phones before you get too far with it. ;)

Give the Visual Light Box software a try. It's very easy to use, very simple to edit to add new things to it later, or even start a new one from scratch to replace old ones. You can find it here and it has free and paid versions depending on your needs.

Nice find G.J

Do you know if you could use this slider for commercial purposes without getting into copyright issues?

Sliders are fine...up to a point. If Gerry's going to have an actual gallery of photos, gallery software is designed just for that. No coding required, just drag and drop to add and arrange the photos. Many have sub-folders for organizing large galleries or multiple subjects (or product photos).
Very easy to stay organized, even if one has hundreds of photos. Some of them even include built in buy now buttons.

Well I've been working on this for about 48 hours and I think I have some of my problems worked out.

I have the gallery working (I think)

Now I need to add some dialog in the 'About' page, and a little more tweaking throughout.

Thanks everyone for the tips and suggestions.

Looks nice, although I'm trying to get my mind around how a blue jean background fits the subject :P

You might want to check the phone number line also as the link is not complete when I see it in the code. It has the end </a> bracket, but no starting tag for it.

This site isn't done with RLM though so I'm wondering where this fits in this thread, not sure what you're using to edit it, but it should probably be posted in the thread for that particular program. :)

I agree, Looks like it was built with <!-- Website template by freewebsitetemplates.com -->

I think this conversation should be moved to the Breakroom.
