Is there a way to view actual images...

So, I believe this question has already been answered.
But not in a way that is clear to me I guess.

I can tell from scanning the conversations, I am not of the skill level of you all.
I'm not looking to be either, I just need to be able to make decent pages for customers of a podcasting business I own.

Actually, I already make them decent pages for their needs.
But I want better and clean code, which is why I use several pieces of Coffee Cup software.

Now that I have needlessly babbled, on to my question.

Is there a method in the Responsive Layout Maker Pro that will allow me to see the actual images as opposed to just the image element with the word "Image" in it?

I noticed someone else had asked what seemed to be a similar question and had found a solution by changing the .svg file in the img directory. I use Windows for these projects, the only place I can find a related .svg in in my AppData directory.

I do have Display hidden files enabled for folders (though I don't think .svg would be hidden).

If this is possible, and someone might take the time to clue me in, I sure would appreciate it.

Thank you.

You wont be able to see your actual images in RLM.
That would make a great suggestion though.;)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This is a site I built for my work.(RSD)

This is a site I built for use in my job.(HTML Editor)
https://pestlogbook.com
This is my personal site used for testing and as an easy way to share photos.(RLM imported to RSD)

Hi rfb welcome to the forums,

This is not an option in the rlmp as Eric has already touched on. Please remember this software is not a website builder. It is a wire-framework/layout maker and all images and content will have to be added after the framework is exported . I would assume features like this would be included in the Responsive Site Designer when it released.

Thx all.
I understand it is not meant to build a site (I am looking forward to Responsive Site Designer).
Being so visual myself, and to help customers visualize the final layout better in their minds eye, it'd be kind of cool to have the feature.

Sort of. You can't see it in RLM but once you preview, they will be there.

Thx Scott!
That's a big help.

Should have been more obvious to me I guess.

I guess that's what happens when you're working, reading forms, and watching hockey at the same time...

Is there an eta for RSD? While RLM fills a need, I'm so used to working with wysiwyg tools these days I'm having to get back into thinking in terms of code to build a site (something I haven't done since html 3.2) and html 5 is a whole new beast. I still need to be able to churn out sites at a reasonable cost to the client, though, and RSD would fill that need perfectly.

I know it's not an easy thing to do, or all the competitors would be doing it and nobody has come out with a satisfactory app yet. First to do it will capture the designer/non-developer market. I hope it's CC.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
