Is Responsive Layout Maker Available...

Is this program available now for trial and/or sale, or is it in beta? If not, can anyone give me an ETA?

Also, is RLM closer to HTML Editor or VSD in the amount of technical skill the user would need?

Thanks,

Kenneth

Kenneth, I think we can say that RLM is in the middle between the Editor and VSD as far as technical skills are concerned. You need to know something about coding, not write the code yourself, but know what some of the tags mean. But if you want to come closer to VSD, then hold out for RSD (resposive Site Designer). It is not out yet, but we expect it to be 'soonish'... :)

That sounds like just the ticket I am looking for.

As an aside, I noticed thorough Google Analytics that almost 50% of my web traffic is now mobile and tablet (roughly 32%/18% respectively) so I suspect this trend will continue to move away from desktop. So I am VERY interested in RSD:-)

Many thanks!

If your traffic stats are leaning towards mobile traffic that heavily, I really suggest you dive into the responsive waters today. The layout is the core of any responsive design. Responsive Layout Maker, together with the templates (that's why we included them, videos and other tutorials will help you master this critical aspect. It will allow you to export finish the site with a few simple hand-tweaks and at the very minimum allow you to hit the ground running when RSD comes out, also because RSD will be able to import these layouts.
The future of web layout has arrived and it's called CSS Grid. CoffeeCup helps you to get ready with a free guide, the Grid Builder app plus cool demos & themes.

Now that is fantastic to hear! And I agree with Bob here, get through the leaning curves with the responsive layout maker and you will be pro when the site designer is released.

Yes it will Eric. Its always nice that programs work together. what this means is I can start multiple layouts using the layout maker and when the designer comes out I can just open them up in the designer program without having to redo them from scratch.

Not to awesome if you hand code all your sites but it is awesome if you love designing sites visually.
