Talking of Wow.
Two questions:-
First - is this the free version or the paid one.
Second, isn't there some constraint over the picture format ?

I'm currently working on a web page for a colleague and have been using Dynamic Drive's background image carousel to make a slide show. Works OK on my desktop, though I've no idea whether it will responsify.

Ian it depends on what your colleague is after, my wife wanted me to update and showcase her beading site, but lightbox the free one was good enough for what she needed, this maybe the case for the chap your doing it for, visual lightbox and WOW same company. The slider on WOW is fluff, I like it and looks professional, there is the logo that smoke says and I think although I might be wrong that you get more templates with the paid version.
Eric always comes up with some gems and is a wealth of knowledge and the one's he mentions are also good. All about needs and preferences.

Goodness me, what stars you are! Thanks very much. All your suggestions are a .lot better than the background one I was using. I think she wants to use captions, and probably a very simple automatic slideshow, I really like the slickness that Wow can give, and I have to say that it has changed beyond recognition since I last looked at it carefully. No image shape or responsiveness problems.

I guess that if I'm going to use the Wow product, then as someone who runs websites for several friends and colleagues, as well as my own, then if I'm to be honourable, I ought to buy an unlimited license. I'll have a careful look at the alternatives, and see if one can do what I want.

Thanks again VERY much.
All the Best
Ian
