Help using RLM and MenuBuilder...

I am making my first website using RLM Pro and MenuBuilder and I am having trouble integrating the menu code into the RLM code. I have successfully created my menu in MenuBuilder and have exported the files. I have created my site in RLM and exported that code. What I am having trouble getting my head wrapped around is how to integrate (read substitute) the menu code created by MB into the menu locations that are in the RLM index.html file. The RLM code has my menu as single line entries separated in div sections. The MB code for the menu (in their index.html file) is the better part of 125 lines of html code. I was under the impression, maybe mistakenly, that the MB code could simply be "inserted" into the RLM code. But that doesn't seem to be the case.

I am hoping that I am doing something stupid simply because I am just missing something. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think it is better to place just one button where your menu is supposed to go, same width as the actual menu. Name it menu or so. After you have exported the RLM project, it is easy to locate that button and replace it with the real menu.

And then let MenuBuilder control the responsive activities of the menu but synchronize them to the same breakpoints that I set in RLM? Am I understanding that right?

No need to synchronize the breakpoints between the two. Set breakpoints in RLM where you find that e.g. 4 columns would be better readable if reduced to two that run across the whole width, and MenuBuilder will behave independently from that.

Just think that you have, say 7 menu items on a page with 3 columns. There is no common denominator, so you have to let each programme do their own thing.

Here is a good tutorial I made a while back explaining how to do this.

Thanks Inger and Steve. Your input helped me understand how to make these two programs work together! I greatly appreciated it.
