I've been anxiously awaiting the release of RLM. I thought I saw the $149 stuck out with $99 next to it or was I just seeing things? I was hoping the $99 was an intro price. At $149 it will be a toss up between RLM and *A different Rival Software* (pre-order price $129 ). I guess I was seeing things.

Hi Sinthea, I just watched the video for *A rival software*. Seems that some of the elements are similar but this software is very different from the RLM.

As a developer using RLM for a couple months now I would highly recommend getting this as opposed to *A rival software*. Remember too its not just the software you are buying into (Which IMO is ground breaking) but you are buying into a family and a community of support that can not be matched.

One more thing Sinthea that I noticed!

*A rival software* does not have a grid system. That is a huge disadvantage when making responsive design. I think people who jump on *A rival software* don't quite realize how important that aspect is.

I was fortunate to see a live demo of *A rival software* and the build they were using had a grid system.

Regardless, I like what I've read and seen about RLM.

Looking forward to purchasing a copy today.

There is actually a big difference between Grid Guidelines (what *A rival software* uses) and a Grid Based System (what RLM uses). This will help explain the differences and show why a Grid Based System is essential when it comes to designing sophisticated responsive layouts.

Coffecup RLMP sells for 99$.
but the suggested retail price is 149$, which seems out of whack with the price of *A rival software*.
having said that, i just downloaded the trial of RLMP and i'll happily pay the 99$ if i like it.
especially since *A rival software* development seems a little slow compared to CoffeCup Software.

i previously bought HTML Editor but since replaced it with *A rival software*, then *A rival software*.

afaic, HTML is the easy part, compared to CSS.
a WYSIWYG editor for CSS like RLMP and *A rival software* makes this task a lot easier.

i just played with this for 5 minutes and first impressions are very good.
the program seems responsive, no pun intended, and well behaved.

what are the limitations of the trial version of RLMP?
i trialed *A rival software*, but it had a trial period of 7 days.

of course, i got too busy to really try it out and the bloody demo expired!

life keeps interfering with my free times!
