Unable to login to email server... -...

I have tried 3 different email servers to send a test email. All 3 went like this:
Awesome! - Test connection was successful!

Communicating with your account...
running, running, running...
Connecting to email server...
Connected to email server...
Unable to login to email server...

We send a Holiday card once a year... that's our mailing. So we don't need a monthly subscription but, it would be nice to find something that actually works.

Suggestions on what the problem may be? Only have a month to get it to work.

Thanks,
Lloyd

Hi Zach,

What email servers are you using? SMTP, Exchange, IMAP?

Hey Steve,

SMTP email servers. smtp.ionos.com & pro.turbo-smtp.com Both say the connection was successful in setup and the settings are the same in their program.

Gmail should be fine as that is what I use on an almost daily basis. You have to make sure your server meets the minimum requirements of RED and contact your host to make sure they are not being filtered or blocked on the back end.

Steve,

Not really looking to use a generic Gmail account to send the company emails to clients.

Thanks,

I'm having the same issue. I did receive the auto email notice from RED but it says it can't login in even though the account test showed good.
I have a BlueHost, AOL, and, a Gmail account all showing good test but no mail send.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Steve, I'm home again. How can I make sure the server meets the requirements of RED. It's Gmail, and if you can use it, why can't I ??? What requirements are we talking about?
