Really big interface - Post ID 296446
Since the last update the interface is pretty huge. I mean, it looks zoomed in.
Besides that, I can't change the size of RED. I use RED side by side with Excel a lot, but not possible now.
Anyone any idea why this is happening?

It is not possible to resize the app to smaller than appr. 870px width, if that is what you mean. It is the same with SD and FD. I guess it has to do with all the buttons in the top ribbon. Maybe, if the three buttons having to do with preview could be made to one button with dropdowns, they would gain something...

Yes indeed, that's what I mean (and it's only an issue with horizontal resizing).
Hi both of you,
I don't know what has happened, but I'd recommend you check the screen settings (right-click on an empty spot on your screen and select the first of the two options). I made a wee screenshot. The Norwegian word 'anbefales' means 'recommended. Find the recommended settings for your screen size (1) and resolution (2).
If they are both correct on your machine, see #3. the icon below the 3 , the wee blue screen with a magnifying glass, popped up in my taskbar some windows versions ago, and has kept me busy NOT getting anywhere near it. If that has happened to you, then just close it, and maybe move it out of the taskbar altogether.

Thnx Inger.
I have this issue only with Email Designer. Even de files that I open in the app are oversized (I have to scale them to 80% to see the actual size).
That got me thinking; is this version "DPI aware"? I found this term on a Windows forum and it caused simular issues (in other apps). my laptop screen is 3840x2160 and it scales 250% (recommended). All my apps look normal, but only Email Designer not.

Well, I wrote down the common problems that I've come across, and their solutions, but if that didn't help you, you should perhaps take a look at Wayan's last post in this thread: https://www.coffeecup.com/forums/site-d … ost296443. It seems to be the same problem being discussed. Since I don't seem to be affected by this (Maybe my graphics card is of a different brand, or maybe the Norwegian translation of the Windows version he got has not been finished yet, I dunno'.

I found a sollution to the oversized UI in the app. For those with a simular issue:
Go to emaildesigner.exe / right click and choose 'properties' and go to the tab 'compatabillity'
Choose 'change High DPI settings' and 'High DPI scaling override' choose 'system' there.
(some part get a little bit blurry though, but it's far better than oversized stuff, in my opinion)

Thanks for posting! Since I don't have the problem, I cannot say anything about it. But at least I'm armed with something to try if it happens
