How can I publish on/to a local machine to use such as WAMP?

I know I can copy paste the files...but surely there is a publish way.

Or, perhaps I am just having and Old F... Brain F...

Thanks to anyone....

You really do not have to publish for that. Simply save your website project into the folder where the WAMP files need to be.

Just a warning using Wamp sets up your computer as a server so do not click to put online unless you have safety devices set. You do not want an attack. Probably won't happen but who knows.

Prism,

Thanks, I know, but a good reminder for all who might consider using it.

Tom

If you are using html editor I do not see the need to use Wamp, they will display from the folder.

I use XAMPP but only for CMS such as WP or MODx

Keith,

I use it mainly (besides habit:)) for testing elements of the new site against the MySQL database that is being built in conjunction.

An update to my original post. After Scott said just save the project to the Wamp folder my brain finally unfroze...

FYI the Editor, php, MySql all work together just fine in conjunction with Wamp.
