I downloaded the update late yesterday and when I opened my Index file using Coffeecup I discovered it is not accessing the saved file on my computer which has a date of 7-21-2013, the one that comes up is dated 5-27-2013. My most recent announcements of course are not there. When I open my Index page on the Internet I see the 7-21-2013 version. Microsoft just updated my Visual C so I was hoping that would do it, but it didn't. Why is the software not connecting to what I have saved on my computer?

I'm not the most experienced person with creating web sites and ours is only for our H.S. Alumni so nothing fancy, just information. I bought your software at the suggestion of one of our class members but he doesn't seem to want to take over the web site so I'm stuck with this. I hope you can help. Thanks!!

Does not really make sense to me but first I would backup the files on your local computer.

Then download the files from the web to your computer.

Possibly check content rather than date.

I've already done everything you suggested. The files on my computer are current with the information on my web site and I also backed them up on a thumb drive with has the same content and dates as my computer. It's the software that isn't recognizing the current files on my computer or the thumb drive. It worked fine before the recent update. I really don't have time to sit here and download all of the current pages again to my computer so that's not going to happen.
Any other suggestions?

The Editor will lode precisely the file you specify to be loaded, - nothing else. Use the file tree under 'My Websites' or 'My Computer' (tabs on the left) to navigate to the file that has the proper date.

If you have different date-versions of the same file on your computer, you have to specify which one you want. The Editor will not by default look for 'the most recently updated' version.

You may want to take a look at the default folders used by the program under Tools > Preferences > Folders, and modify as needed.
