Problem with the image mapper in HTML...

While the HTML editor in general is my favourite editor by a mile, I find the image mapper really annoying in one or two respects.

The main difficulty I have is that when I'm trying to work between the main editor and the image mapper I can't. It won't let me minimize and work with the editor and then go back to the mapper, it just makes me close if I want to go to the main editor. I have the same problem with website colour schemer, but I can live with that.

Is this a bug or is there a way round this problem.

Thank you

What version of the editor are you using (go to the help menu > About).

Hiya,

This is indeed still a problem with the HTML Editor and the Color Schemer that was there quite a while ago, and I could have sworn it was supposed to be fixed, but apparently isn't. I just tested that part and it definitely won't let you go outside of the editor to use the dropper so I always have to load the Color Schemer program itself rather than the one that is integrated in the HTML Editor. I would imagine that whatever the problem is with this, is most likely the same problem with the image mapper.

using the most up to date (I think lol) version of the HTML Editor build 305

Hi Scott,
It just says on the About info, that it's "build 305" but I wouldn't think that was a version. However I just bought it about 6 weeks ago and I think it's the newest edition.

I am sorry Nigel, but I forgot all about that. Yes, this is a known issue and is scheduled to be fixed in the next update of the editor. If all goes well, we will have that out in February.

Thank you very much Scott and Wolverana for your comments. It would be great if that did get fixed in the near future, since it's a super program otherwise.

Hello everyone,
I hope your all doing well.
Haven't been on here for a while with one things and another, but was glad to see there has been an upgrade on the HTML editor.
So I've downloaded that and given it a bit of spin. It does seem to look a bit better.

I think on a program like this, some will see one thing more important than another and vice versa. I was happy to see that the colour picker seems to work better than previous editions for me, however again I've got to mention about the website colour schemer and image mapper. They both have the same problem as previous editions and that we can't minimize the buttons and have to close them down to go back to the main editor. Surely guys this is an easy but important thing to fix.

However even with these silly little things it's the best editor around.
