Preference for application startup...

I have been working with the updated HTML editor, and the preference of "Open last documents" at application start up is not working. I always end up without any open files. I'm not sure if this has been reported yet or not.

Also, on somewhat of the same subject, I like to start with the "My Computer" tab open. It would be nice if that would also open with the configuration (i.e. same open folder) I had when I closed the application as well.

I am using version 12.5, Build 412.

Thanks!

Seems to work for me. I save my pages then close the editor with the pages still open. Next time I start the editor they all open up.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Brenda,

Do you use CCleaner?

No I don't use it now, I have in the past. It is working for me now too. I narrowed it down, I think. The editor would "crash" at times. I'm thinking that even though I saved the preferences, it may not have been updated until the editor was closed gracefully. I closed all files, set the preferences, then closed the editor. Next time I closed it with open files and then reopened, it worked.

Yep you'll find that with any program you run. If you change your settings on something, always good to get in the habit of closing and reopening it (unless it's an extremely cumbersome program that is, then it's not to convenient but you probably should anyways). I've learned my lesson a few times on that after changing a ton of settings in Firefox and a couple other programs and had the stupid things crash and lost all the settings. Very frustrating lol. Glad you figured it out though.
