We work on a local network here in development of our website. All master files are located on 1 machine, while several different machines access the files for update and modification. NOTE: we are NOT trying to work on the same files at the same time, NOT multi-user. The new version of CC locks up when trying to save any of these modified files. At other times when accessing the "Network" on the website tab, the other computers do not show up, preventing access at all.

This is a user-user forum. Not sure if anyone has run into this. I would open a support topic and let CoffeeCup work on this. Just go to the top menu under Support, then 'Your Support Room' and open a topic. They may be able to help you out.

It would appear you need to set up access rights for each computer that needs to access the files. I do not see it as a CC problem. Try a plain copy to locations on other computers to see that works. Now are you saying that a previous copy of the editor worked with your network OK. I believe there were changes to make it more compatible with Windows 8. May have been a security issue.

Check how the computers are networked whether cabled or wireless, My bet is authorization. Report back if you find the problem to help others. What this forum is for
