The HTML editor needs a bit (ok a lot in my view) of towards the php side of things! I am hiting my head on walls, because i am in devlopment of a internet net app. And the php highlighting is only picking up half the tags

Have you gone in and customized the php Highlight settings under Tools - Preferences - Customization - section under highlighting options.

I use it all the time for lots of php work and it works great. I have customized php highlights for lots of PHP Elements.

Is there specific tags or elements that you find that is not working? It might be more helpful if when it happens that you list what it was, so others can see if it does the same for them. That way CC has a better idea of what to fix, if there is a problem.

I have not customized anything from the settings. It's not picking all the code up or it seems that way.

Although this latest beta seems to be working better

Ohh Beacuse it's working better i am tacking back the copy of DreamWever i bought the other day (good thing i never installed it )
