Making Banners and Graphics Another Way

I will put the suggestion here as this is where I use them. Now VSD makes the most delightful and creative banners ever produced. Now get creative and make a banner in VSD. Do a preview
"copy image as" Save to the image folder of Coffee's project. Load the image in editor.

Actually any colourful shapes you want can be the base of any elements placed on top of it. Even Alternative text which is an image on conversion. I know Web Image Studio creates great graphics but VSD also has hidden talents.

I put it here as it would get swallowed up in the suggestions thread and may not see the light of day.
I shall leave it to the powers to be to move it if so desired.

I would move it if I knew what you were trying to say. lol

There are three programs mentioned...
"An Apple doth not fall far from its tree, yet an orange does."

I am pointing out that there can be more to a program than is stated in the documentation.

A program is an intelligent entity it communicates it makes decisions based on input and like like any entity often has ability's far more than its designers paid heed to. A program is what we are and one day it will be interpreted. If you have seen as many programs come to life like I have you would know what I mean.

So as the input I pointed out is into Coffee I put it here. By the way I think you have caught the lol's from Jo.
I admit it I am a program with a hidden delete button :/

Let's hope no one ever finds your delete button, Prism! :o

I think there are many CC users who may have started with VSD and moved on to the Editor who might appreciate this, nice to know VSD can still be useful. There's one thing VSD does very easily that's a pain in the @$$ in Photoshop and (so far) doesn't exist in WIS; that's make rounded corners on either rectangle shapes or images.
So... nice to know one can take some things easily and quickly done in VSD and plop them into an Editor site ;)

You know I've done what you mentioned but really never thought to make it a suggestion. Great catch Prism.:) It pays to have others helping here as it's hard to retrieve everything I've seen or done.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

A bit off topic...
Prism, didn't you start a thread in the VSD forums for sharing page and/or website designs?
I finally made something to put in there :D

You may have already seen it. It just happens that it illustrates what was being discussed over here:
http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/designe … -possible/

It doesn't have all its parts and pieces functioning yet – but I went ahead and put it on my SDrive (http://ccd.coffeecup.com/) so Boyd could see it. If I ever get going on the HTML Editor, I'll probably use VSD to create a template of sorts, then as Prism suggested, pull some of the graphics out of the VSD site.

Hmm! I thought that went over like a lead balloon. Actually I cannot tell a lie. My idea was two fold. I can do just about anything with software but Design, very mediocre. I thought it a good idea at the time.
problem is it gets lost in time. A repository that could be shared would be the go.

I like "Coffee" it is a good editor but I am afraid 95% of my html is just position absolutes. Why? it lends itself to programming. X,Y coordinates and auto page building.

I guess you all have heard about "Point Position" I found this program and now it is my page building buddy (Notice the American influence) stays on top and gives x,y co ordinates.

I put elements precisely on the page, and that allows me to place the php produced data on top. I helps when you want to put text on images etc.

This is a page I am working on to display my site stats. I would not have a clue how to do it another way cleanly. http://inkmon.coffeecup.com/site/statdisplay.html

The banner is done in VSD, little frames too.
