sorry, I guess i didn't finish the job, thanks Jo Ann

hehe no worries dave, I had the image editor open working on my sons site so may as well get rid of that white for him.

Here's the dark one if you still wanted to use that one without the white edges, transparent corners now:

After you attach the file, just 'Post Message'! If you try to 'Preview', you lose the attachment for some reason. - Learned this the hard way... :)

lol what a silly thing .gifs are these days, ok here they are as a .png, same thing but they retain that darn transparency this way.

Are we quite sure that the outline is not just the image link? Try removing the border around the image and see if that helps as that looks like the default link colour to me.

This is the code for that image in that particular frame
<img src="http://www.coffeecup.com/images/promote/88x31b.gif" alt="CoffeeCup - HTML Editor- Flash - Web Design Software" />

Try using this instead
<img src="http://www.coffeecup.com/images/promote/88x31b.gif" alt="CoffeeCup - HTML Editor- Flash - Web Design Software" border="0" />

Also, if you have posted and somehow forgot the attachment you intended to include, you can't edit the post and add the attachment...
