Hello.

I designed a website using the Deep Red theme. I would like to use the horizontal menu in that theme, but I also would like to add drop-down elements to it. Here's hoping your css skills are way better than mine. :)

Hi there Michael,

with that specific menu in that theme you will not be able to add a drop down very easily. It would be faster to create a menu with Menu Builder and use it instead of the one that comes with that theme.

You can find more information about it here:
http://www.coffeecup.com/menu-builder/

I use it almost exclusively and I love it!

Thanks, Steve.

You just confirmed what my next purchase will be. One further question, tho: How easy will it be to replace the current menu with a new one I create with Menu Builder? I know I can do a global "Replace" if necessary. Just wondering if Menu Builder somehow overwrites the existing menu in the HTML and CSS files.

No Michael it will not automatically over-write your current menu. You will have to manually add the menu exactly the same way as you had to with CSS3 Menu Builder.

Trust me you will not be disappointed with Menu Builder. Many of us here use it on a daily basis so if you get stuck along the way feel free to start a thread in the menu builder section and ask away.

Be sure to study up with the quick start guide as it has a lot of helpful pointers on how to use the software. You can find the QSG here:
