I have both word and pdf documents in my web site that I would like to edit. I have tried to double-click the documents in the local disk tab, but that does not seem to open them in the appropriate software. Do I need to associate the file types within HTML editor. Can I get HTML editor to bring up the appropriate documents in their applications for editing?

What happens when you right-click the file and select "Open in Associated Application"?

I would think that "right-clicking" will probably work for him, I just tried it on my Win7 64-bit system and it worked fine. With both PDF and Word documents.
