Document Tab - Is there a way... -...
To get it to the bottom of the screen?
I'm probably missing something obvious in the preferences...

Sorry, but no. They are hard-coded to be at the top of the application. I personally find it much easier that way too. Works just like web browsers do.

I too would like them back at the bottom, what about giving us a choice? It's not just like our browsers when some of us are using addons for our browsers to put them at the bottom
I do and love things all at the bottom myself, I have very little I need to go to the top for, and would actually put my toolbar for HTML Editor at the bottom with it if I could

I would say give a choice. Because I like them at the top... There is nothing at the bottom for me to use, and it would be a hassle to have to go from bottom to top all the time.

That is way easier said then done. I am sure you will get used to it after a while.

If we do get enough user requests, I am sure we will consider it for a future version.

at the top makes sense, like you mentioned with web browser tabs
but when you've spent... jeez, how many years now? with tabs in coffee cup at the bottom...
old habits die hard
it's like my little red arrow going from the top of the page to the bottom
