Creating hidden web pages? - Post ID...
My apologies if this is in the wrong section (mods feel free to move it)
I was wondering if you can create hidden web pages?
What I mean is a page that does not appear on the menu but you can access via the URL, as in the absence of a discount code function, I have thought about having a page that has the appropriate discount and can only be accessed by those who I have given permission. For example special offer on first aid kits only available at www.multiactivecoaching.com/FAK001
Many thanks in advance

There's a few ways to accomplish this but the easiest is to use rediculiously long php variable url links and use the $_GET or $_REQUEST method to determine that the user should be there or not. The only problem is that users can share the link. The other way and most recommended is to have a sign up form. Now when they register you'll have full control of what they can see.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Thanks Eric.
The use of Website Access Manager is also a big possibility here without the need for all the long PHP codes to accomplish it. Eric is right though on the protection part being a Login as the best way to do that. Granted, they could still share their login, but people are a lot less apt to share a full login of an account than they are a single coupon code. Website Access Manager will definitely work for you if you are not wanting to go with the Login setup.
Just as well I read your post Jo, you would have got an echo.
