Copy, Paste, Cut Not Working Together
I just downloaded the newest HTML Editor today. I have Version 12.7 and Build 456. I've been using an older version for more than 2 years and did not have the following problem:
If I copy some text either inside a file or outside and then try to paste it in a file, the Paste does not work. I get nothing. If I highlight some text within a file using the HTML editor and use the Cut function, the text totally disappears and I am unable to recover it in any way.or Paste it anywhere. Basically, I can Copy or Cut but the Paste Won't work. Very frustrating.

It works for me. Might want to reinstall it.
How about ctrl + v .

Hello Walter,
I would recommend following the instructions here. http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … n-cleanup/ and see if that helps your issue.

Nothing is working. I uninstalled and re-downloaded the HTML editor and opened it up and brought up a new blank html template page of yours. I copied some text (a copy and paste) from an email to a page in Notepad with success. Then I tried to paste the same text in the new blank html page and nothing happened. I am running Windows 7 with all updates in place.
This seems to be the same problem discussed below : "Issues with Contrl V". This is such a BASIC problem and it should be fixed ASAP. I can't do anything until this is corrected. Again, I did not have this problem with my previous Coffeecup HTML editor that was just removed so I could get this new version.

I would open a support topic so that maybe the CC gurus can get you up and running.

SirAGE: I found that procedure utterly confusing and I think it's not even up-to-date.
I had this problem recently. After following the instructions SirAGE has provided it did sort out the issue. For a while. Then it came back. I scoured the internet for a solution. In the end I reformatted my computer (it was needed anyway) and the issue has not surfaced again.
Hopefully there will be an easier option out there if you don't want to do that.

I am having the same problem. If I turn off the computer and restart, I'm fine. For one copy and paste only.
In case anyone uses IObit Smart Ram, check under CPU Settings and make sure that 'Clean Clipboard' is NOT checked.
I had this going on last year, and finally found out that the above setting was the culprit. I don't even know how that box got ticked (maybe an update changed it), but once I unchecked it everything went back to normal.
If you don't have Smart Ram, ignore this
