When I went to the CoffeeCup software sounds page (www.coffecup.com/sounds)and downloaded the files, two of them loaded strangely. They are moreanigifs.exe and moresounds.exe. They want to load to CoffeeCup HTML Editor ++ Pro.

I can't find which directory they ended up loaded in.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm glad I ran across this post. I didn't even know there were sounds and other goodies for download.

I downloaded & installed moresounds.exe (I have latest version of HTML Editor 2006). I saw the same message about HTML Editor ++ Pro and went ahead and hit OK. It prompted for the path to coffee.exe and went with C:\Program Files\Coffeecup Software\ and it started installing. The sound files went to the \Sound subdirectory:
C:\Program Files\CoffeeCup Software\Sounds

So, you shouldn't have a problem. Give it a go if you haven't already.

I would love that CoffeeCup sound that plays when you install their software. Now that would be fun to use on a web site. I think it says 'I love Coffee In A Cup', or similar.

OK - Found it, It is in
C:/Program Files/CoffeeCup Software/coffeecup.wav

Thanks, Adam. I just ran the exe file again and this time paid attention to the directory it was unloading in. It was loading into the default of C:\program files\coffeecup software\sounds.

I changed it to point to the directory that CoffeeCup.exe was in and the files loaded fine.

(www.coffecup.com/sounds) I tried this link, it didn't work. How do I get to the sounds?

That's strange. The link worked before. Try this one: http://www.coffeecup.com/html-editor/graphics/

this does not go to the sounds, it links to graphics.

Gerald, this post is 4 or so years old so I that's why the links aren't valid. I don't think there are any 'free' downloads like that nowadays.
