Can someone remind me or point me the thread in order to fix the HTML editor to open up .php files when double clicked on?

Right now with the new version it will not allow me to associate php files to open up in the HTML editor - someone pointed me to a way of fixing it (I think it had something to do with the registry) but I cannot remember

1. Close the Editor
2. Start > Run and then type Regedit
3. Delete the key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\Coffee.exe
4. Now try to file associate something with the Editor now.

Can we get a shortcut to that on the tool bar?;)

Just a bit of advice. Before making any changes to the Registry please make a save first. You never know.

Some of my programs change settings and sometimes on trials I stuff up. nasty, I have the tools to recover but experience has taught me to save first. File export registry file.

One more thing, I would advise everybody to create a drive image and a boot disk to access it. There are several programs that will do that. Drive crash, Stuff up, all can cause catastrophic loss, with back up all it will cost is time and perhaps a replacement drive. All the work is saved up to the point of the image creation.
