For some reason, I can't open anything today. I worked on these same pages yesterday with no problems.
I tried to open pages from my PC, I tried to open pages from the web. After I tell it to open I just get an hourglass, just sitting there, no matter how long I let it sit, it does nothing. If I try to X out the program I get this:

I have the newest version of the HTML editor, I have uninstalled and reinstalled it today and still can't get it to work!

What did I do?!

You should probably put a support ticket in. If you look to the top of your screen under account, you can put one in there. :D

Also, have you tried just rebooting your machine again after you got that error? I had the program crash on me a few days ago and it gave me an access error like that too AND lost all my personal toolbar settings which didn't come back *grumbles*. But once I rebooted the machine then the errors were all gone, just had to resetup my personal toolbar settings again, thank God that's all I usually setup specifically lol. Didn't lose any files though or any other settings like Snippets, just lost my toolbar settings :/ Oh well.

Anyways try that if you haven't yet, and definitely open a ticket as Eric already said if that don't work for you.

Did anything change on your computer? Our software does not auto-update itself, so maybe you installed some Windows update or maybe firewall / anti-virus definition file was updated.

That's a good point for me Scott, I did just update a windows update a few days ago right about the same time mine crashed. And of course it can be scanner defs which update sometimes multiple times a day for me too. It's all good on my end just redid toolbar so no biggie.

Waiting on Jessica to let us know if anything worked yet or not.

OK, I tried restarting and uninstalling and reinstalling AGAIN, just hoping something would click and nope.
Same thing is going on.
The screen shot I posted first was when I tried to "open from web" and I got that error, when I just try and open from my PC I get the same type of error, but it is "Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000."

And nope Scott, didn't do any updates or anything over the past couple of days.

I haven't put in a support ticket yet, should I just do that?

I still find that strange because our software does not auto-update. The version you had when it was working is still the same as you have now. Something must have changed on your computer. Do you have automatic updates running for anything?

Nope, no auto updates running. I do have several updates that are available, but I haven't done them.

I hadn't even restarted my computer from one day to the next when the problem started. I was working on pages one night, shut the HTML editor down as usual and the next morning when I opened it up I couldn't get anything to open.

And now it works..... I didn't do anything, didn't restart again, didn't do anything. 45 minutes ago it didn't work, it just locked up and now, it works..
Wow.

See computers just suck that way. It will never make sense to me how two identical systems can act differently. Maybe the computers are evolving. Yikes. :/
