I was asked to take over an existing website designed on a template website. The hosting company does not provide ftp access so I downloaded the pages via the edge browser. Works OK.
However, when I try to open a page in the editor I see a message that tells me there are lines with more than 50 000 characters. Opening may crash the editor, which it does. Is there a way to circumvent this?
Thanks,
Ed

Hi Edgar,
Can you open it in notepad and alter the lines that are to long?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hi Edgar, Those pages you can't open, are they by any chance minified pages? If they are, try unminifying them. I have used this service some times: https://unminify.com/

I didn't look at the date of his post, hehe! Just saw that the one before mine was quite recent. Well, I hope he found out how to open his files.
