I know tables are not used very much anymore but I actually have a long list of tabbed info that used to be in a table and I think I'd like to keep it in one. I've fooled with making a similar table with flexbox but it would take so long to get all of the input into the elements that way.

Any tips on using tables in RFF?

Thanks,
Jeff

How many columns of data do you want?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I have data that is in 3 columns and have about 500 rows. The rows will be broken up into smaller sections though.

I would suggest looking at the DESIGN RESPONSIVE TABLES WITH FLEXBOX GUIDE. You can download the HTML / CSS or open it in RSD. It includes an example with 3 columns plus a column for describing the data. Hope it suits your needs!

Thanks Bob. I think my trial of RSD has expired but I'll read through the html version. I'm sure I can pick up a few ideas from it.

I actually already built a 'table' in RFF using flexbox. I'm really happy with how it looks but I'm just not looking forward having to put in each of the text elements into all the areas of the flex table. I'm still testing out different solutions to see what will work best in this instance. This data is all a text field only a few words long for the first column and then the next two columns are just a number usually only about 5 characters long.

Are you using dynamic data? Mysql etc.

No, it's all static. I might update it once a year or so but it doesn't change usually.

Looking at the old table, the flexbox table approach explained in the document should work really well.
