It seems that the 777px wide element is the subgrid.

I thought Stefke meant the whole wall-to-wall main column and wanted the 10px margins left and right on that. I might be wrong. I've asked him about it, but he hasn't replied. And also, I have made him aware of the wide open space he will get in the middle of the footer when displayed on large monitors.

.subgrid.subgrid-1 {
margin-right: auto;
margin-left: auto;
min-height: auto;
max-width: 777px;
max-height: 334px;
}

and you can do this too

.subgrid.subgrid-1 {
margin-right: auto;
margin-left: auto;
max-width: 600px;
}

@media screen and (min-width: 40rem) {
.subgrid.subgrid-1 {
max-width: 777px;
}
}

@media screen and (min-width: 64rem) {
.subgrid.subgrid-1 {
max-width: 999px;
}
}

Anyway for your info, I exactly followed what I saw on paper as he drew.

If that was aimed at me ;) , I know, I have seen that paper before. The problem with a piece of paper is that it can't be 'responsive'. ;)

There are two main issues here: Stefke has problems with the English language, and he seems to have problems with understanding how the responsive programme (RFF in this case) works. Some of us have tried to help him out and have actually ended up creating the bits and pieces of that site for him. That's why I wrote 'we have this design...' further back in this thread. He actually should give us credit in the footer, you, Wayan and me. ;)

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I am not native in english as well and I feel the pain :(

Visualization is the key in back end of mind when it comes to design, especially when it comes to responsive.

You watch the next one will be the slider images

I made that as a demo using some images he had,, they have now been removed from the image file for RCS,, so obviously no images in the slider,,, if he tries to just put images back into the imgage file in the RCS folder,, they won't work too because the new images won't have the correct filenames etc.

They love having their photo taken, but are shy about toothless grins
