While playing around with various themes, the music theme. with a 1700 breakpoint trying to find it with no success. I tried to move the window to the left in order to expand to the next breakpoint. No dice. Clicked on what i thought was the restore-down button and the window expanded, all the upper right symbols (min, max/restore close) disappeared and haven't come back. I've closed/ opened the program several time still gone. I've just uninstalled and will reboot. I hope that works.
Is there something else I should try?
I should have something clever to say... but I don't.

May be completely irrelevant to what you are experiencing but I run into a similar (at least in appearance) issue, maybe once or twice a month - usually when I have a bunch of apps open.

In my case, I think the issue is a video/OS thing. I run dual monitors, and maybe once or twice a month, an app window will seem to restore to a size slightly greater than the monitor screen resolution. The title bar and sometimes the right edge will be partially off-screen. Closing the app doesn't solve the problem because when I restart the app it 'remembers' its last position and restores to that. What does work - hitting the Alt-Space hot-key combo to bring down the left side context menu, minimize, then maximize the app's window. No more problem. Not sure the min first is required, but it's how I approach the issue.

Sincerely,
Gordon
