Backspace key, and links in simple...

Normally the use of the Backspace key returns one to the previously open page at the place where it was open. This seems to work throughout my project with the exception of this indexing page prepared using Content > Components > Simple accordion. The RFF file is here.

(a) I click on a link in an accordion section.
(b) Having been taken to the relevant page, I use Backspace on the keyboard to return to the indexing page.
(c) I find that the indexing page has refreshed itself and not left the relevant accordion section open, whereas I would like it to do so.

A natural solution would be to set the target for the links to open in a separate window/tab. For consistency with the rest of the website I want the links to open in the same window, and not in a separate window/tab.

I guess I am overlooking some setting that would allow the normal behaviour when the Backspace key is used to return to the indexing page. I will be glad if someone can show how to do this.

I have tried many methods for the above but without success. I accordingly have eliminated the problem by putting the sections which had the links into separate pages which are in turn made to appear in an iframe in the indexing page.

The links in the post above will therefore no longer work, but the result of my latest work-around of the problem may be seen here.
