I have a customer who is wanting a way to stop unwanted responses to web forms. I already use reCaptcha on all of the forms I put on the website. However, it appears that actual people are entering information on the form and then submitting it. It doesn't appear to be a bot, but just random entering of information. The way some of it has been worded leads me to think it's someone who is trying to scam by asking to buy stuff on credit card and then ask for something upfront, blah, blah, blah.

Anyway, does anyone know how you can prevent a REAL person from filling out a form with information you don't want?

Thanks,
Brenda

How can you stop a real person from filling out the form. If you could then it would stop all real people.

That's how forms work. People that may not have good intentions can fill it out and submit. One way around would be to have a smaller form and send them a link to the larger one after you can confirm their intentions.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Thanks, everyone. Exactly my thoughts. I asked because I thought it's possible someone out there has some magic that I don't have.

Ideally, the forms submission wolud include an approval process. I want to use Coffeecup for the site designer and form builder but I don't think their form processing can do this. Right now I have to use third party, Zoho forms to get approval processing.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
