I am using DFTP to upload files to the Go Daddy site and I have the following issues.
I first uploaded the 4 html files and they showed on the Go Daddy side with the name, file size and date. I then loaded the file with the graphics. I loaded. When I opened it it showed all the individual files but I would say 95% of the files show 0B for the size. When close that folder and went back to the individual html files they now show 0B for the size. Am I doing something wrong or is there an issue with Go Daddy?

No issue with GoDaddy. I use it all the time.

First, using DFTP, insure that you upload using passive mode. Then on the main menu under Actions/Transfer Mode please insure you use 'Binary'.

Let us know if you still have a problem.

I have it set that way. That is why I am confused. I even turned my Firewall off during the upload and still the same issue. I trust everyone one here to help, not sure about Go Daddt, but I guess I will need to contact them.
I noticed on the Go Daddy side there is an HTML file titled saved as home, and when I look at it it is titled Coming Soon and in the body it says"
Future home of something quite cool.

Could this be an issue?

That's what you get when you try and access your site, before it is uploaded. That is a default page that GoDaddy created when you purchased your hosting account. It simply means you have not uploaded anything.

Something is probably still not configured correctly.

You say you uploaded the html files okay? Do you have a link you can share?

The link only opens a blank page. It does not even show that default page. I did not purchase the domain, the client did. As far as the html files as well as the graphics file they upload and show everything as I mentioned , but as soon as I try and look at any of them they all go to 0 file size.

Let me ask this real quick too...did you set up an SSL for this site?

Sounds like they are not uploading. If this is not your host but a clients, I'm still thinking a setting must be off.

Here is how my settings look for DFTP to a GoDaddy host...no SSL
If there is an SSL then you'd need to change the 'protocol' setting.

Here are two screen shots. One that shows the HTML file size was taken after they were uploaded. the second one is after I uploaded a few of eh files in the file folder and it now shows the file size at 0 for the HTML files

Gunsmoke I have the setting just like yours, except under the Nickname there is the Server spot and I have the IP address there. Go Daddy gave me the IP user name and password. I have it set to Port 21 and Passive Mode and Binary.

Well, it looks like your settings are okay. I'm not sure you have permission to write to the server. You are using an FTP access and it may be limited on what you can access. Interesting that when your uploads show a file size, there are no permissions set for the files. In the second pic it shows a file size of 0 but has file permissions set.

I guess I'm not sure what the problem is. DFTP works great with GoDaddy.
