I updated Direct Ftp today. Takes forever to get to any site and if I do manage to get to one, I can not open any folders Sorry, the action you are trying to complete has timed out. [28] Additional information: server response timeout.
I have several ftp programs and can reach and open any file with them.
I even uninstalled direct Ftp and reinstalled it
I will look and see if the config file is causing the problem, if it has one
Thanks Bo

I had to re-install the old version. I was having the same issue, took forever to get the directory to display, then I couldn't open directories once they did display. The old version works fine as does my other FTP client.
Where can I get the old verson?
Thanks
Thanks

Scott should be able to point you to it either in here or through a support ticket.

Ok thanks Sure is handy with the editing I do. Worst case I will run a server backup from last night
Having the same problem, where can I get the old version?
If you are having technical issues, the best place to start is by opening a support ticket. You can do that here at https://www.coffeecup.com/help/myroom/opentopic/

I tried the new version wouldn't take the info for my servers unless I first signed up for s-drive. Never really liked it much, got it mostly because I do like the HTML editor so anyway, uninstalled and done. Can't please us all.

You did it wrong Jeff.
Click the GREEN + sign to add your FTP server. What you did was click the BLACK GEAR icon which configures a connection to S-Drive.

Well seems I am not the only one having the same problem with the update. I already submitted a support ticket.
