We used to use the free ftp always, sorry to see its missing from latest HTML Editor 2010 build 369.
Bought latest Direct FTP today and it refuses to even list our web site's pages and/or folders - so for us it does not work. We have had to revert to using explorer!

It sounds like you need to put in a support ticket, not receive a refund. I'm sure it can be made to work for you, too.
