unable to open files - Post ID 216592

Our machine died, rebuilt a new machine and installed client, moved files from old machine to new and when we are trying to open a file we get the following message.

"Connected, but could not open "". It may not exist or you don't have permission to open it with the protocol you are using."

You may have missed something moving files, or something got corrupted. I would uninstall DirectFTP and re-install. Make sure you have downloaded the latest version. Updates are free so if you are unsure then just go to your account on the top menu to download the latest. Install and run as 'Admin'. Should work for you.
