I'm not support, but I can recommend Piriform's CCleaner as a very safe and effective PC maintenance tool & registry cleaner. (it's also free!)

Visit http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner if interested.

(http://www.ccleaner.com/) was one recommended to me by Support.

I kept having trouble with a reinstall until I did that cleaning step...really important :)

[quote=tassietiger](http://www.ccleaner.com/) was one recommended to me by Support.

In case it's not clear to the original poster, this is the same software that I recommended a few posts ago, despite tassie's post showing a different url...

It's one of the best tools in my PC toolbox.

A rose by any other name eh?

Just as well you clarified that Chuck as I was tricked :D But I guess it reinforces that it is a good tool.

I have this problem where my latest version (or my free version) never actually works!
It just loads and loads without ever connection. Im using the server suggested by host
too, but never gotten any joy.

I thought it was because I was using a free version. Can I please try 6.6 too please.
It used to work fine on my old computer, thats why I opted for it, but having my doubts now.

Thanks - please send me an older version.
