Hey Alan,

Sorry you are finding it confusing. I assure you that it works great! Try this ...
Open DirectFTP. Then on the top line select 'help' then select 'Help(PDF)'. This will open a PDF help file for you. Go to about page 7 for the 'Quick Start Guide'. This will explain how to input the needed data for your server so that you can get on-line with the program. After you do this, if you need more help, just read the manual, or check back here. We're fairly friendly!! :D

These answers are all good, but how do I even open the ftp to get started. Start from the beginning. What do I put into Google to come up with your log in then what is next. I keep coming up to a page that says free trial. I already purchased the full version. Once I can get on the correct page then I can follow the directions from the help guide. Thasnks

I'm a bit confused here Alan as to what exactly it is you're having an issue with. You are logged into CoffeeCup's website already as your name is showing on your post so you're already logged in. If you're trying to get to the software that you've purchased then go up to the top menu and on the right side you'll see your name for your account info. Mouse over that and you'll get a drop down menu. Click Your Purchases and scroll down a little bit past all the items you don't have and you'll see what you do own.

If that's not what you're after, can you be more specific about what you're having issues with? Is it a piece of software, the website here, your login for FTP program? It's not clear what your problem is so help us help you better and give us a little more info if the above doesn't cover what you're after :)

Alan, you purchased the 'Full Version'. Did you install the program on your computer? If not, then that is where you start. Look in your download directory and find the DirtectFTP program and double-click on it. This will install the program on your computer and create a desktop icon to start the program. When that is done, right-click on that desktop icon and scroll down to 'properties'. Select 'Run as Administrator' then click the 'ok' button. Now you can 'double-click' the icon to start the program. This has nothing to do with the CoffeeCup web site or this forum. It is a program that runs on your computer. Once you have all this, follow the directions in my first post to open the Help PDF file. That will explain how to use the program. If you need to download the program again, follow the advice given by Jo Ann above. Let us know if you are still having problems.
