Hiya Matiu,

Can you tell us what it is you're trying to get setup and we will do what we can to point you in the right directions for getting things going. Let us know what programs you're working with, if they are already installed give us an idea of any problems or issues that may be standing in your way.

When you say you want to move it back to your computer, do you mean you need to set up webs.com's FTP details in DirectFTP so you can download the entire site to your computer in order to edit it?

All you need to know is those ftp details and they can usually be found in your host's (webs.com) help files or even in your account information with them. You'll need the site address, which can be either an IP type address (66.123.5.123 or similar) or a named address, like paratene-whanau.com. The you'll need the username (which can be anything) and password (again, anything) in order to access their FTP server. With these entered you can then log in and leech the whole site back to your own computer. You can then make any changes you want then upload the changed pages by reversing the process to downloading them.

Good luck.

Congrats on your purchases, get them all installed and give us a rundown of what you need assistance with to help. It's hard to give instructions for something when we aren't sure what assistance you need so you'll need to let us know what it is you need help with in a little more detail.

I think Dave already has you covered on the FTP program, but if you need more assistance there just post and we'll do what we can. :)

Ty Jo Ann & Dave, yes i have purchased 7 coffeecup programs to have it running off my own computer at home, have had one made up specially for that............i am going to discontinue our website with web.com, ............i have purchased a new template and building a new website with...CoffeeCup HTML Editor and then i will slowly add them all together...........but first of all i need to get Direct FTP working and then start with editing and linking pages together, i think i am on the right track......but as i am saying, seems not wanting to login on Direct FTP...........seems i having trouble with that at the moment as its not logging in..............X..this is what it is saying...The remote server denied login. Your username and/or password is not correct, or attempting more concurrent connections than the server allows. [67] Additional information: Access denied: 530.
Server has replied: [530] Permission denied. your help and efforts have been appreciated........

Matiu, It's best to put in a service ticket so that CC can take a look at your FTP settings for log-in. You don't want to post that info here.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

At the top of your screen, click where it says account. Then you will see the option to submit a ticket.
