Getting message: "Internal error,...

Hi. Yesterday I created a new form with Form Builder and uploaded using Direct FTP 6.9 version 2015. Everything worked fine.

Today I created another new form and attempted to upload. The queue counts down through all the files as if all is going well. But then this message appears:

"Internal error, failed to convert the data to a format that the server is able to process. May be the file or text contains unexpected characters."

The .php file seems to upload fine. But the folder with all the files has not been uploaded.

Is there something I need to fix on the server side? Thanks.

Hi David.
Have you tried closing and restarting Direct FTP?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Yes, I did. And when I reopened Direct FTP it displayed this:

"Access denied. Make sure you have entered the correct login information in your server settings and try again. If you are sure you have entered the correct information, contact the server administrator to resolve this issue. [9] Additional information: Server denied you to change to the given directory.
Server has replied: [550] forms/testform/testform: No such file or directory."

I then clicked the SERVERS tab and reconnected. Attempted the upload again and got the "Internal error..." message again.

I created a support ticket with my server host and got this response which I thought was interesting.

Hello,
The FTP service for your account is not restricted in any way.
Would you please let us know the FTP program that you are using and the settings that you've entered in it? This will allow us to investigate further.
You can test with a different FTP program too. An example application that you can try to use is FileZilla:
https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?show_all=1
Our tutorial for this application is located at:
https://tickets.suresupport.com/faq/art … _filezilla
Thank you.
Best regards,
Support

Ok, mystery solved. My form file and folder names were the same. I changed the name of the file and everything worked. Not sure why as the file has an extension and the folder doesn't, but that was it. Thanks for the feedback anyway.
