I have a question about updating/replacing on the remote server. I tried to just upload the replacement file and overwrite the existinig file. I expected to get an overwrite warning. Instead it appeared as if nothing happened. So, what I have been doing is deleting the file on the server(Remote Pane) and uploading a fresh page from the local pane.

Just wondering if this was correct. I did not see any mention of this in the help book. BTW, I really like, and have used, the option of editing the Remote Pane files. I use this for minor "repairs."

Since I'm new at this, I'll give you guys a laugh. When I loaded all 8 of my pages, I noticed that my navigation bars (top & bottom of the page) did not have a link to the home page. :):)

Thanks,

Mike J

Click on "Edit" then "Preferences". Now click the FTP tab. At the bottom you can click the "Ask user".:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Might also make sure you are 'Running as Administrator'. Don't really know why, but several of the CoffeeCup applications do funny things if you don't run as administrator

yep that's always a good idea with many things on the newer versions of windows, a thorn in many a programmer's side I'm sure since having to trouble shoot issues that so many times just end up with that as the fix lol. After how many times I've seen and said it in the forums here as well as many others, I can't imagine what software support companies have had to go through for that issue since the new windows versions have made that so prominent.

 Michael... thanks for sharing!
I think I've got you beat... Couldn't figure out why my main menu didn't work – forgot to add the .html to every page name :P
