this is just a thought... I often am uploading large files just before closing for the evening. this takes some time and would like to know that when the last file has successfully uploaded that ftp will close not be connected all night long. i thought it would be good to have an idle option so that ftp disconnects after a user-opted time of inactivity. thanks, Jack

I believe ftp servers will disconnect after a certain amount of inactivity.
