Has anyone been successful in connecting to a Comcast site using Direct FTP?

I've spent well over 2 very frustrating hours failing.

I've checked my firewall settings, login, password, host directory and all are correct.

When I try to login it goes so far as to tell me it's connecting and then it just stays there forever with 'busy' displayed on the lower left corner.

I'm on Windows Vista.

Tried it out just for you.
It went right in with the following, nothing fancy.

Tested with DirectFTP 6.2 in Vista Business (UAC disabled)
If you haven't already, make sure it's upload.comcast.net & try with or without Passive mode (was checked by default, which worked for me). Do you have other firewalls/security software other than Windows Firewall? Windows Firewall asked me if I wanted to Unblock, which I did.

I am haveing the same problem as cryonaut2b.

The thing just says "Busy"

It is interesting that in the image you attached, it says: connection type - ftp

That is NOT shown on my version....?

I did a reinstal and it seems to have fixed it!
