Hello,
I have been using Direct ftp to upload some files and I keep getting an error.
Under transfer details it says : Failed (RDIR).
I downloaded the file back to my computer and all is ok, the file unzips fine.
Can someone tell me what the error is?

Has this issue been resolved? I'm having the same error with Direct FTP 6.6.

Hi,
Have you tried closing any anti-virus or firewall software running in the background?
or any other programs just as test.
Elisa if you contact me thru my email we can test your Dftp with one of my servers, i'll give you the info to try and see if it works for you. if it does then it has to be a setting somewhere on your end. Or I suggest a support ticket.

Not enough info here. Servers? Type of file(s)? Operating system? Just saying error is meaningless unless you support it with specifics.
Someone has already offered but if anyone wants me to try it for them email me.

Hi all,
I also have exactly the same problem (failed RDIR). I don't understand this. I expereienced this with ftp version 6.6. I am using vista, 32 bits. I used ftp version 6.5 previously and never had this error.
Has anyone been able to find out anything about this. Files sizes am uploading is about 174 MB.

I lost my hard-drive as you know I lost everything, I got a new laptop and now trying to reload things as best I can.
My Direct FTP was one of the things I lost and don't recall the version
I was unable to locate an email address directly to support. The program I can download is available, however I prefer an earlier version that I ask for before and received, but unable to recall the version. my email is brsmith6@cox.net.
