I am a new user. Windows 7

I have been working on a few .php files in the editior. When I Save to Remote (I like to work live) I get a window titled :

"Debug Report "Coffee Cup DirectFTP" (see attaced)

...the program is locked and if I click X it says "DirectFTP not responding" and I HAVE to close and restart it

It happens every time

Any suggestions would be very gratefully received?

One other thing. It also seems to do this with most .html and .htm files.

The files do appear to be uploading to the remote site ok but I have to keep restarting the program so it is no use fora decent workflow.

Just guessing here, but are you running the software as Administrator? If not, try that and see if it helps.

Sorry it didn't help, but I have one other concern I didn't catch earlier...you are working in the HTML Editor. So, you need to post this in the forum 'The HTML Editor'. You will probably get much more help there from some of the long time guru's. I had thought you were FTPing from the DirectFTP program, not the editor. Sorry and good luck.

Looks like he's using the editor built into the Direct FTP program by the looks of the screenshots. The DFTP program has an editor built into it also. No answers sorry, just thought I'd clarify that for Gunsmoke
