Just for fun I decided to click the "Check for updates" under help on DFTP. I got an error of "[2] The software you have requested does not exist"

So I came to make sure it was still even being sold and while I see it still is, it makes me wonder if it will ever get a major update or fix for many of the issues it has and things it is missing.

I would suggest that you open a ticket to CC Support with your question. This is a user-to-user forum, and the staffers don't visit here too often.
