Just so that there is 100% transparency here. Karen is basically upset that she purchased Shopping Cart Creator and that we will not giver her the Shopkeeper plan on S-Drive for free for life. There was never a problem with the software. I even gave her 3 months of S-Drive for free and that still was not acceptable.

We did try. ;)

Wow Karen, that's just lame, why should you get things free just for purchasing things, and then they do give you something free and you complain about it? Lame at best sheesh, grow up.

Reading this topic from the start grabbed my attention. An honest question from Mark Tempelmeyer with his concerns about the future of his web building abillities and what to use. All this is just a personal preference and ofcourse which goals you wish to reach and if the software is able to perform for your goals. I think that several answers will help him in making a correct choice.

Rather shocked I was in what Angka wrote. her personal frustration and maybe not even research on her side for the main purpose of her site and possibilities in the software are I assume the reason of her frustration.

My personal experience with CoffeeCup are outstandfing and extremly quick solving. I had an issue with some software i purchased, beleive it or not but the solution was given within 6 hours and worked perfectly. Also as I may say an error was made on my side while ordering a pdf. One email to the support desk explaining what had happened and i was surprised with an email with the link to the correct PDF, FREE OF CHARGE. Not one word of rudiness have I experienced from the helpdesk. Quik swift and efficient response to all my tickets and emails.

Therfore I do NOT agree with the arguments made by Angka.

Keep up the good work CoffeeCup.

I guess instead of buying the SCC (that can be hosted anywhere and re-used to build as many sites as one wants), she should have gone with an online all-in-one solution.
Just pay the monthly hosting and accept whatever limitations the plan puts on your store (most are well over $100 per month if you want all the bells & whistles). If you decide to move to a different company/host – you have to create your store all over again.

Lets see if anyone else offers her free retail space for life

Angka, read my signature and weep, I started off as one of the first SCC basic buyers, and SCD basic, I grew, CC grew, i upgraded to SCCP & SCDP again one of the first.

My bank balance is a result of hundreds of hours work, and appx £300.00 spent with CC

I dont use SDRIVE for my shop, i have external hosting costing me a mere £2.50 per month

You get out of a shop what you put in, my first high street shop i set up cost me £125,000.00p and it still exists today, but my internet shop delorean, at £2.50 per month makes me a good profit on a weekly basis, without the £600.00 a week it costs to keep the high street shop running.

Join a society for the short of arms and the long in pockets, you belong there not here

Started using CC VSD in January 2009, I don't do HTML code, Sales from CC site exceeding expectations taken me out of semi-retirement

Wow! I feel sorry for this Angka person already, everyone has the right to throw one wobbly. If they had any backbone at all they would come back and give us the real drum about their situation.

We are the best group on the planet (Always had a lot of tickets on my self, don't know about you lot) we can help sort out anybody, whether they need it or not.
