A few years ago when I first started using coffeecup I started with the HTML editor- then I got lazy and started trying the VSD.
One of the issues used to be if I wrote a webpage and saved it on one computer, and that computer crashed, my website would be lost....

Is that still the case?

I have a nice computer at the moment but geez, who knows when the dog fur will jam it up again!!!!

I'm glad to be back --- it's been a while since I've had a reason to play with webpages again ---I love the new CC website ----

With HTML if you uploaded your site then you can just download it again...

With VSD you have to save the .csv (or some three letter file name) file name to save your entire site. My suggestion would be to upload that file to your site that way it is there for safe keeping.

But if you lose work, pictures or anything for that matter that would be your fault. Not a programs. :P

VSD creates a back-up folder with all your site stuff in it. It gets uploaded along with your site so it's on your server if you ever need it.

A back up (external) hard drive is always a good idea – never know when your computer might crash :o
