I think I might be having the same issue, but am not quite sure after reading through this thread. When viewing the website on iphones or ipads- the titles in the red banner look like the attached image.
Would this be a DPI problem? I see nothing wrong on my end when I view the website on Safari or Firefox from my laptop & Firefox & IE on my cpu

It looks as if the parent container of the menu does not have positioning in it. Which would cause that error. But just from the pic it is hard to tell. If you could provide a link, that would be great.

Looks exactly as it does on my laptop in FX.

The title text is a Windows font, I think Apple products will substitute Lucida Grande in it's place. As long as it has a similar "footprint", it shouldn't break the text box.
Joy, in VSD – check the text boxes for your titles to see if there are any extra spaces that need to be deleted. Make sure those boxes aren't overlapping any other text items.
