Greetings

Where can I find the HTML code after developing a site in VSD? I don't see any menu item which allows you to view source code!

Tony,

VSD is primarily for those that do not want to be involved directly with the HTML code. If you change the HTML code using any other program, the changes will not be known and recognized by VSD, and your next upload with VSD will be without those changes.

If you saved your VSD file as yoursite.vnu, you should find a folder named "yoursite.vnu_website" that will have all the html pages.

You can open any html page using any text editor and see the code. Direct FTP has an edit function that will allow you to view/edit the code, and of course your MS Notepad will also work.

Of course, for those who want to work directly with the HTML code (perhaps after using VSD initially as a rapid prototyping solution) there's always the HTML Editor.

I am starting to do some SEO on my web site. One of the things I need to do is add an H1 tag. Something like this....<H1> CONTENT <\H1>
Is there any way to do this in VSD. Tried in HTML editor but off course it did not stay.

Add it to an HTML box. Hacking the page with the html editor works but you have to remember to redo it after you publish your site with VSD because it will get over written as you have already found out.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
