VSD changing linked file names on...

Crazy idea.... Maybe VSD treats identically worded links to the same pdf file similar to how it does images; assigning a number to each copy? So if you had mylink.pdf on one page, then added it to another page (or area) it would become mylink0.pdf. Add it to another page and it would be mylink1.pdf.

It's late, too tired to try this out. David - Let us know if you find anything out from CC :)

....see that in the linked image I included in the first post.

Sorry, couldn't read it with these old eyeballs! :(

Its not the old eyeballs it happens> Personally I like the ease of throwing a page together with VSD. Notice the new concept of "Throwing" definatly a new way I have found. Design in VSD and code it up in Coffee which is aptly named as you need a lot as you unthrow. I found a good workaround have one help.pdf and one help0.pdf let the link decide who gets what. I really do send one of each up and stopped worrying about it.

If it was just one PDF file I would maybe not worry about it. But don't know how many pdf files may have been affected. There are easily over 150 or more different PDF files referenced on our rascal.cc website.

The one I am having problems with right now gets changed every month. (maybe that is causing the "0" problem). That means I have to remember to copy the regular PDF to another 0.PDF and then upload them both every month.

For almost a year I did not have any problem like this. Now it just pops up all of a sudden.

Anyway, thanks for your suggestions. I have opened a service ticket with support. We'll see what happens.
