After submitting my website to Google and Bing I now have the text "Paste Your Code Here" show up at the top of every webpage. I would like to get rid of this message but am not sure how. The Bing site was verified via a meta tag while Google was done using TXT.

My website is http://www.lakemononasailingclub.org/site/. I am using Windows 7 and have a registered copy of VSD verion 7.0, build 24.

Any suggestions woule be appreciated.

You put that inside of your header. Go to the Edit Menu > Edit Header and remove that text.

It's in the body, and shown as the first piece of text on the site, and why Google is showing it as your description. Sometimes it takes them a while to use your description from your meta tags.

Looks like you were trying to paste a code, Google Analytics perhaps? If so, you've done it incorrectly. Remove the 'paste your code' from your website, and paste your code with your description in the header as Scott has said.

I went to Edit Menu > Edit Header and deleted all text. I also deleted all text from, "Paste Your Code". I then saved my website and published it. The "paste your code here" still appears.

Looks to me that you left the text "Paste your code here". I would go back and dbl check to make sure you got it all.
